Custom Home and Renovation Services

It is important to find a contractor you trust.  You will have to spend a lot of time with this person to achieve a successful project.  I am by nature very detailed and wish to educate my clients so you can make good decisions.  My pre-construction process has been very successful in assuring that your project will be smooth, on time, and on budget. As you will see below I put a lot into planning before any work is to start.

Pre-construction Phase

• Pre-Plans: 

Before we start on the plans I will do a thorough walk through of your needs, expectation of quality, and unique details.  I can give a rough projection of costs to make sure we are on the right track.

• Design of Plans: 

In addition to the pre-planning phase I will sit in on the architectural planning and make sure we continue to stay on track budget wise and assist overcoming any issues that may compromise your vision of the project.

• Layout and positioning:

 It is a good idea to get some other input on how to place the home or new addition.  This should involve you, the architect/draftsman and me.  This is part of my service helps to maximize the best possible layout and take advantage of scenery and environment.

• Estimates: 

I will start the process of receiving bids and estimates for the home soon after the plans are done.  You will get to have some fun and pick out some potential products. This will involve a few appointments with some of my vendors and subcontractors. From this  I will be able to estimate a level of quality you expect and budget appropriately. Soon after we have completed the bidding process I will send the information to the lender and soon after start construction. 

Construction Phase

By following the process above in the preconstruction phase we should have a great experience.  I will have a well planned out project and be on sight every daily, work will be in progressing efficiently, and completed with high standards. You will get an update on the schedule weekly and you will know where you stand on costs with updates throughout the project.  That means no unwanted surprises at the end. When we are close to finish I do thorough punch list with you to make sure we finish to your expectations.

Warranty Phase

In the event there needs to be an adjustment or correction after completion you will have a good experience. We will be efficient and focused on fixing the issue at hand.  I work with great subcontractors and vendors and we all have integrity.  Our quality is also shown in our character.
